Kabba
Exploration Potential
Similarities between mineralization at Bell's Kabba prospect and fringing mineralization at other Arizona porphyry copper deposits are too strong to conclude anything other than their indication of proximity to a major porphyry copper system at Kabba. A simple reconstruction of faulting across the east face of the Hualapai Mountains demonstrates that the offset top of the known porphyry copper system lies buried beneath the Kabba prospect under shallow cover. Phase I drilling supports this conclusion and a Phase II drill program is currently underway.
The prize sought under the faulted Kabba target is at least 500 million tons of oxide, enriched sulfide, and primary sulfide ore at a mean grade of near 1% Cu and 0.02% Mo.
